The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Suburban Christian in their matchups with Indiana Christian Academy: they've now lost four in a row.
Despite the defeat, Suburban Christian saw an underclassman step up: Chad Glover scored 19 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Glover has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tim Poynter, who scored eight points along with four steals and two blocks.
Suburban Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Indiana Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.
Suburban Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Heartland Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Indiana Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to challenge Legacy Elite Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy Elite Academy is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
