The Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. The contest between Rio Lindo Adventist and Summerfield Waldorf wasn't particularly close, with Rio Lindo Adventist falling 56-40. Rio Lindo Adventist was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Summerfield Waldorf apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Despite the loss, Rio Lindo Adventist still got an impressive performance from Hunter McNunn, who scored 18 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McNunn has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jordan Campbell, who scored 11 points.
Rio Lindo Adventist's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-6. As for Summerfield Waldorf, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rio Lindo Adventist will take on Mendocino at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mendocino is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. As for Summerfield Waldorf, they will be playing at home against Pacific Union College Prep at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pacific Union College Prep is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
