Marsing hasn't had much luck against Parma recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Huskies will welcome the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Marsing barely beat Melba the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies put the hurt on the Mustangs with a sharp 12-6 win on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won three in a row.

Brooklyn Roadenbaugh made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-5.
In other batting news, Natalie Thoene was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Taylor Callison was another key player, scoring two runs while going 4-for-5.
Marsing kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Parma got themselves on the board against Vision on Friday, but Vision never followed suit. They blew past Vision 22-0. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Parma got a massive performance out of Mollie Calkins, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two triples, five RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Lakota Leppert, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.
Parma pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Marsing, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-5.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Marsing has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 12 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Parma struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Marsing might still be hurting after the 10-1 defeat they got from Parma in their previous meeting last Tuesday. Will the Huskies have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
