The Johnson Creek Bluejays will head out to face off against the Abundant Life Challengers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Johnson Creek barely beat Williams Bay the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bluejays were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs on Thursday. The matchup marked the Bluejays' most dominant win of the season.
The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Johnson Creek was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-11, 25-10.

Johnson Creek's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caroline Armstrong, who had six aces and four digs. That's the most aces Armstrong has posted over her last four contests. Kira Boehm was another key player, getting four aces and one assist.
They weren't the only good servers: Johnson Creek was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in three consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Abundant Life, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Madison Country Day by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.
The final score came out to 25-20, 25-12, 20-25, 25-14.
Johnson Creek's record now sits at 9-7. As for Abundant Life, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Tuesday's matchup: Johnson Creek has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.5 aces per game. However, it's not like Abundant Life struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.8 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Johnson Creek might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Abundant Life when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Bluejays avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
