In what's become a running theme this season, the Nitro Wildcats gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They blew past Capital 74-24 at home. The win was familiar territory for Nitro who now have seven in a row.
Nitro's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Natalie Smith led the charge by scoring ten points along with six assists. Another player making a difference was Hailey Newsome, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Nitro's win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Capital, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-13.
Nitro will head out on the road to face off against Cabell Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Nitro has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 209 points over their last three matchups. Capital does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
