Wildwood's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Zayden Garcia, who scored 15 points along with two steals, and Terriyon Bryant who scored 12 points. That's the first time this season that Garcia grabbed two or more steals.
South Sumter's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-7. As for Wildwood, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season.
South Sumter will head out on the road to take on Citrus at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wildwood, they will be playing at home against Halifax Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Halifax Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 960 points over their last 14 matchups.
