Thunderbird has gone 9-1 against Moon Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. On Friday, Thunderbird didn't have too much breathing room in their  game against Paradise Valley, but they still walked away with a  42-38 win.

 Thunderbird found their leader in sophomore  Isabella Illingworth, who  dropped  a double-double on 21  points and 11  boards. Illingworth is also crushing it when it comes to  steals: she's   grabbed at least two every time she's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Lanaya Robinson, who  posted eight points.
Meanwhile, Moon Valley didn't have too much trouble with Metro Tech  on Saturday as they won  43-28.
 Moon Valley found their leader in freshman  Aniston Pattershall, who  dropped  a double-double on 22  points and ten  steals. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kamariana Shaw, who  had ten points in addition to seven  boards and six  steals.
 The  victory  got Thunderbird back to even at 7-7. As for Moon Valley, they now  have a winning record of 6-5.
 Everything came up roses for Thunderbird against Moon Valley when the teams last played  back in February of 2024, as the  squad secured  a  61-18 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Thunderbird since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
