The Tri City Prep Panthers's homestand continues as they prepare to take on American Heritage Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 16th. Hopefully Tri City Prep is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than American Heritage Academy in Arizona (Tri City Prep is ranked 140th, while American Heritage Academy is ranked 330th).
Back in December of 2023, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Tri City Prep beat Verde Valley 41-36.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to American Heritage Academy, who are still winless after their sixth match. They were beaten by Verde Valley 48-17 on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points American Heritage Academy has scored all season.
Tri City Prep's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for American Heritage Academy, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-6.
Everything came up roses for Tri City Prep against American Heritage Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 68-23 win.
