Softball Recap: Santiago Has No Trouble Against Savanna

Santiago won the last time they faced Savanna and things went their way on Wednesday too. Santiago blew past Savanna 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won four matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

Santiago has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. Savanna is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12.

Looking ahead, Santiago will host Los Amigos at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Los Amigos' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Santiago's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Savanna, they will head out to challenge Calvary Chapel at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
