Cabot faced Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win is more of the same for the Panthers, who have now won four contests in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final set scores wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-10.

Cabot's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Payton Styles, who had 19 assists, seven digs, and three aces. The team also got some help from Olivia Ambeau, who had 12 assists, 10 kills, and six digs.

Cabot has now won 13 of their last 14 games at home. That gives them a 12-4-2 record this season. As for Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Cabot is set to take on their familiar foe Bryant at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Central will challenge their in-conference opponent Conway at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
