Baseball Recap: Skyview Academy's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

SkyView Academy has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Wednesday. They came up short against the Dayspring Christian Academy Eagles, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, the Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

SkyView Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logen Meyers, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Meyers is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, SkyView Academy fell to 3-1. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. SkyView Academy will face off against Calhan at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they will challenge Byers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
