Despite the loss, Marshall saw an underclassman step up: Brody Kueker scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds. Kueker scored a full 30% of Marshall's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Chase Thompson was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Hermann's victory bumped their season record to 0-0 while Fulton's defeat dropped theirs to 1-3.
