Westminster Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brock Stomps led the charge by scoring 15 points. Tyler Spraggins was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
Westminster Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Pine Prairie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Grace Christian at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th. Grace Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three contests -- so hopefully Westminster Christian Academy likes a good challenge. As for Pine Prairie, they will head out on the road to face off against Eunice at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
