The King Lions will face off against the Blake Yellow Jackets on Wednesday. King has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 218 points over their last three matches.
King is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 79-76 win over Brandon. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

King's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Nuri Hakim, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and ten rebounds. Hakim's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Rodney Smith, who posted 16 points in addition to eight assists and six boards.
Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Blake's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 70-62 to Oak Ridge.
King will need focus on slowing down Jason Johnson, one of several Blake players who made an impact when they last played. He put up 19 points. Joshua Lewis was another key player, putting up 13 points and eight rebounds.
Even though they lost, Blake smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Oak Ridge only pulled down six offensive boards.
Blake's defeat dropped their record down to 20-4. As for King, their victory bumped their record up to 6-20.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: King has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 30.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Blake struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.3 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
King suffered a grim 59-38 defeat to Blake when the teams last played back in February of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Lewis, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds.
