The USC Hybrid Trojans''s and the Sherman Oaks CES Knights''s matchup on Friday was close at halftime, but the USC Hybrid Trojans turned on the heat in the second half with 24 points. Everything went USC Hybrid's way against Sherman Oaks CES as USC Hybrid made off with a 48-26 victory. The result was nothing new for USC Hybrid, who have now won three games by 22 points or more so far this season.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daniel Truong, who rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. Truong was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 54 yards. Evan Venegas was in the mix too, providing Sherman Oaks CES with two touchdowns.
USC Hybrid's victory bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Sherman Oaks CES, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.
USC Hybrid will face off against Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fulton knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully USC Hybrid likes a good challenge. Sherman Oaks CES does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
