Even though the Mount Pleasant Tigers scored an imposing 57 points on Friday, the Concord Spiders still came out on top. Concord really took it to Mount Pleasant for the full four quarters, racking up a 97-57 win at home. With Concord ahead 44-22 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Concord got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayden Beyan out in front who scored 16 points along with 6 steals and 5 assists. Another player making a difference was Kyzen Coleman, who scored 16 points along with 3 steals.
The victory got Concord back to even at 3-3. As for Mount Pleasant, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
