The dominant performance gave  O'Day a new career-high in  aces. The team also got some help courtesy of  Charly Scherer, who  had four  digs and four  aces.
 She wasn't the only good server: Lutheran  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 17  aces. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved they're  ace total in five consecutive  games.
 Lutheran now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Rosati-Kain,  they are  on  a  14-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Lutheran will challenge Pattonville at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Rosati-Kain, they will take on Lutheran South at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Lutheran South will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Rosati-Kain surely won't give up without a fight.
