The Compass Charter Aviators won the last time they faced the North Star Huskies, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Compass Charter walked away with a 62-51 victory over North Star. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Compass Charter.
Among those leading the charge was Beau Bristol, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 15 rebounds. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. Jayden Horn was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with four steals.
Compass Charter now has a winning record of 5-4. As for North Star, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Compass Charter will face off against Cole Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Cole Valley Christian has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. North Star's road trip will continue as they head out to face The Ambrose School at 7:30 p.m. on January 11th. The timing is sure in The Ambrose School's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while North Star has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
