Meanwhile, Westside Christian Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Christian Community. Westside Christian Academy has not had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite their loss, Westside Christian Academy saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Xander Biederman, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and six assists, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Trent Douglass, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Lake Ridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Westside Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
