Brennan came tearing into Friday's match with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Warren Warriors with a sharp 70-49 victory. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Brennan's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bella Flemings, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. Flemings' morning made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Janea Walls, who went 7 of 16 en route to 21 points.

Brennan smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in ten consecutive games.

When it comes to explaining why Warren lost, don't look at Aniyah Shields. Despite the final result, she posted 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Shields a new career-high in blocks (three). Makayla Davis was another key player, putting up seven points and ten rebounds.

Brennan pushed their record up to 16-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.3 points per game. As for Warren, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-7.

Brennan will venture away from home to challenge Sotomayor at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Flemings and Jordan Pete. As for Warren, they will welcome O'Connor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. O'Connor is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.7 points per game this season.
