They took their game at home on Thursday with ease, bagging a 70-32 victory over Ridge Community. Winning may never get old, but Davenport sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Sorayah Emilien was her usual excellent self, scoring 31 points. That makes it eight consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Davenport's points. Another player making a difference was Ariana Ballan, who scored 19 points.
Davenport's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Ridge Community, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Ridge Community won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Fort Meade at 5:00 p.m. on January 12th. Fort Meade's defense has only allowed 27 points per game this season, so Ridge Community's offense will have their work cut out for Ridge Community.
