The biggest upset of the week belonged to Canevin Catholic, who took down 91st ranked Canevin Catholic, 42-7.
Clairton extended the longest winning streak in WPIAL A Black Hills this week by beating Serra Catholic, 41-0. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
California's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Malik Jackson threw for 65 and one touchdown and Austin Hunter had 60 yards receiving. On the ground Cory Adams chipped in 74 yards. Nathan Harris helped California's passing attack out by catching two balls for 17 yards.
Imani Christian Academy's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Saints feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Khari Hicks has thrown for 1547 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Eric Scott has 34 catches for 607 yards. Ron Brown leads the league in rushing with 774 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Clairton takes on Imani Christian Academy. As it stands, Tom Nola's team is in first, while the Saints are in third.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when the Bears take on Imani Christian Academy. Clairton has allowed 55 points this season, while Harvey Smith's team has given up 95. The Bears allowed 0 points last week as they bested the Eagles.
The Trojans moved up to 370 from 416 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in WPIAL A Black Hills. California was able to make move up by beating Carlynton 21-0.
