Aiden Bishop put in work no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out ten over six innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. He is becoming a predictor of Calvary Chapel Academy's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 2-1 (and 0-10 when he doesn't).
Bishop wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Gaven Mosher, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Riley Miller also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
Calvary Chapel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Brevard HEAT, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.
