American Family Insurance Selection Tour

Follow the American Family Insurance Selection Tour as it recognizes participants in the 2012 National High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships.

Phil Forte
The future Oklahoma State Cowboy has been at the center of one of the great runs in Texas high school basketball history over the last three years at Marcus (Flower Mound). Forte helped the Marauders go 114-6 with two state titles. Expect him to be tough to beat in the 3-point contest at the National High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Contest. Presentation

Savon Goodman
Regarded as one of the nation's top prospects, Goodman will have some extra motivation in New Orleans. "I'm looking forward to getting back at Shaq (Johnson)," Goodman said. "He beat me out in the Elite 24 competition when we were the final two and he kicked my butt out there. I’ve got a couple of tricks up my sleeve." The 6-foot-6 senior helped Constitution (Philadelphia) reach Pennsylvania's Class A state championship game. Presentation

Dalante Dunklin
The California-Santa Barbara pledge opened eyes with his athleticism and ball skills last summer playing with club program Dream Vision. Dunklin carried that momentum into his senior season at Parker (San Diego, Calif.) and led the Lancers to the San Diego Section Division IV title game. Presentation

Jamie Weisner
Fresh off a heroic performance in Washington's Class 2A state title game, Weisner is headed to New Orleans to shoot it out with some of the nation's top long-distance aces. Weisner piled up 33 points, 12 rebounds and three steals March 3 to lead Clarkston to a state championship, pouring in 27 points in the second half. She will play at Oregon State next season. Addy Roller
Headed to Wayne State next season, it's fair to say Roller had the green light from beyond the arc at Purdy (Mo.). The 5-foot-7 guard connected on 120 of 278 (43 percent) 3-pointers this season, pouring in over 27 points per game and leading the Eagles to a 24-6 record. She's headed to New Orleans for the National High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Contest. Presentation

Antoinette Bannister
It doesn't take much investigation to see why Bannister was invited to shoot it out with some of the nation's top players in New Orleans. As a senior at Potter's House Christian (Jacksonville, Fla.), the future North Carolina Tar Heel averaged 31.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 7.1 steals and 4.8 assists per game. Presentation

Morgan Batey
A future Vanderbilt Commodore, Batey was virtually unstoppable as a senior at Pace Academy (Atlanta, Ga.). At 5-foot-10, Batey was Georgia's Class A leading scorer at 22 points and 13 rebounds per game. "I thought it would be a lot of fun and a great honor to participate in the three-point competition," Batey said.  "I think that’s one of the strong points of my game, so I’m looking forward to competing." Buddy Hield
A native of The Bahamas, Hield helped Sunrise Christian Academy (Bel Aire, Kan.) gain national prominence this winter with a 25-4 record and national ranking in MaxPreps.com's Academy Top 10. Before heading to Oklahoma, Hield will battle it out with some of the nation's top shooters in New Orleans. Presentation

Kari Korver
After posting 25.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.7 assist per game at Valley Christian (Cerritos, Calif.) as a junior, Korver missed her senior season with an injury. But the future UCLA Bruin has recovered in time to compete in the National High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Contest. “I’m really excited to go to New Orleans,” Korver said. "I missed out on my whole senior season, so it’s just fun to get to compete and represent my school." Presentation

Shilpa Tummala
A senior at nationally top-ranked St. Mary's (Phoenix), Tummala has a few things going for her. The 5-foot-11 guard is headed to Harvard and recently led the Knights to a 30-0 record and Division I state title. Next stop: New Orleans for the National High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Contest. Je'lon Hornbeak
Hornbeak inished his career at Grace Prep (Arlington, Texas) with a pair of state titles under head coach Ray Forsett. Thanks to the play of the future Oklahoma Sooner and fellow Big 12-bound teammates Isaiah Austin (Baylor), the Lions finished the season 27-4 and are ranked No. 11 nationally this week. American Family Insurance visited Hornbeak Wednesday in advance of his trip to the National High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships. Presentation

Jean-Pierre Tokoto
The future North Carolina Tar Heel averaged 24.6 points per game for Menomonee Falls (Wis.) this season and will make a stop at the National High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Contest before heading to Chapel Hill. Presentation

Shaquille Johnson
Headed to Auburn, Johnson has been a major contributor for one of the nation's premier high school programs at Milton (Ga.) the past two seasons. His name first began circulating nationally after a spectacular showing at the City of Palms Classic dunk contest in December of 2010. "I'm ready to dunk in front of the fans, and I'm happy that my mom will be coming and will get to experience Louisiana," Johnson said. Presentation

Jasmine Jenkins
The East Hall (Gainesville, Ga.) senior is known as a floor general and leader, but wants to show she can knock down the trey in New Orleans. Jenkins, a 5-foot-7 point guard, has signed with Vanderbilt. Presentation
