San Angelo HomeSchool had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 53-9 loss at the hands of the Santa Anna Mountaineers. The Saints lost against the Mountaineers in their previous head to head back in November of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 43-29 score last time.
Kamyn Hale was nothing short of spectacular for Santa Anna: she went 8 for 11 en route to 24 points plus four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Callie Danek, who earned six points in addition to three steals.
San Angelo HomeSchool wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 28-11 defeat against Mullin on the 5th. As for Santa Anna, they will welcome Eden at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
