Softball Recap: Juab Takes a Loss

Juab couldn't beat Delta on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Wasps took a 13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rabbits. Even though they lost, the Wasps' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.1 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Raylie Ballow made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Mollie Blankenagel was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Juab and nudges their season record down to 4-10. As for Delta, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-9.

Coming up, Juab will head out to face off against Canyon View at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Delta, they will be taking part in a tournament against Wayne at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
