Dawson Lancaster posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has become a key player for Gillespie: the team is 5-2 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 3-4 otherwise.
