The Harvest Community Warriors will face off against the Cedar Creek Christian Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Harvest Community has six straight victories, Cedar Creek Christian has nine straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Harvest Community had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 13-run drubbing they dealt Eagle's View on Thursday. Everything went Harvest Community's way against Eagle's View as Harvest Community made off with an 18-5 win. The result was nothing new for Harvest Community, who have now won five games by ten runs or more so far this season.
Rebekah Harmer and Naomi Winburn made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Harmer struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off only two hits. Meanwhile, Winburn tossed two innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two hits in six consecutive appearances. At bat, Harmer scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Winburn scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, Harmer posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024.
