The biggest upset of the week belonged to University, who took down 33rd ranked Ferris, 21-0.
Gonzaga Prep extended the longest winning streak in 3A/4A Greater Spokane this week by beating Mt. Spokane, 32-3. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Bullpups.
Ferris' offense has been unstoppable this season and the Saxons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Christian Olson has thrown for 1253 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Beau Lockmer has 35 catches for 427 yards. Gunnar Seefeld leads the league in rushing with 378 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Central Valley takes on Gonzaga Prep. The Bears are in fourth place, while David Mckenna's team is in first place.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Mead takes on the Saxons. The Panthers have allowed 145 points this season, while Ferris has given up 131.
Central Valley led 3A/4A Greater Spokane in scoring this week after putting up 62 points on Shadle Park. Austin Rehkow in the win.
