Alcoa came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Eagleton College & Career Academy Royals. The Tornadoes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 games by six runs or more this season.

Maddy Stewart was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Halle Bailey, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI.

Alcoa's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 34-6-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-15-1.

Alcoa has already played their next contest, a 14-0 win against Chuckey-Doak on the 12th. As for Eagleton College & Career Academy, they will take on South Greene at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
