The Southmoore SaberCats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 78-12 defeat at the hands of Broken Arrow. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Southmoore has scored all season.
McKenzie Mathurin was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with eight rebounds and five steals for Broken Arrow. Mathurin hasn't dropped below 19 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Macy Marraccini, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
Southmoore has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season. As for Broken Arrow, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season.
Southmoore will play host again and welcome Stillwater, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Broken Arrow, they will head out on the road to challenge Jenks at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Broken Arrow has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
