The Waynesburg Central Raiders will head out on the road to face off against the Imani Christian Academy Saints at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Waynesburg Central strolled past Charleroi with points to spare, taking the game 45-27. Waynesburg Central pushed the score to 42-20 by the end of the third, a deficit Charleroi cut but never quite recovered from.
Breydon Woods had a dynamite game for Waynesburg Central, rushing for 270 yards while picking up 11.3 yards per carry. Ross Tennant and his 92 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Waynesburg Central's victory.
Meanwhile, Imani Christian Academy entered their tilt with Yough with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Imani Christian Academy blew past Yough 45-7 at home. Considering Imani Christian Academy has won seven contests by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Waynesburg Central has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Imani Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
