Emmanuel Christian Academy extended their losing streak  to three  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 4-6 in the process. They came up short against  the Legacy Christian Academy Knights, falling  13-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Knights this season,  with their most recent  loss being a  4-3  defeat  on Monday.
 Emmanuel Christian Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Josh Witherow, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  RBI. Another  was  Jack Meyer, who  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with two  runs.
As for Legacy Christian Academy,  the  victory  got them back to even at 5-5. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won three contests by ten  runs or more  so far this season.
On Legacy Christian Academy's side,  Joshua King was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 2.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. King has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in two of his five plate appearances with two  RBI and one  run.
 In other batting news,  David Cancino was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and three  RBI. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Justin Harphant also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
 Coming up, Emmanuel Christian Academy is taking a road trip to  take on Troy Christian  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 7.5  runs per game this season. Legacy Christian Academy will be paying especially close attention to Emmanuel Christian Academy's  matchup: after Emmanuel Christian Academy faces off against Troy Christian, they'll take on Legacy Christian Academy again  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
