Ski-Valley - North recap October 1, 2013
LaSalle added to the longest winning streak in Ski-Valley - North this week by beating Sault Area, 29-21. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
LaSalle moved up to 274 from 316 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Marty Spencer's team was able to move up by besting the Blue Devils 29-21.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Saints' Tyler Snyder and Kyle Winkelman have proven to be a lethal combination. Snyder has thrown for 632 yards this season, while Winkelman, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 12 catches for 276 yards. Pickford's Jack Slater leads the league in rushing yards with 313.
The Panthers took down Pellston 29-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Elijah May ran for 102 yards in the win.
