It was a good run, but the Milford Bearcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They were dealt a 53-20 defeat at the hands of Cissna Park. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Milford in their matchups with Cissna Park: they've now lost four in a row.
Hunter Mowrey was Milford's leading scorer, having posted six points. Mowrey also led the team in rebounds with seven.
Milford's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-11. As for Cissna Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Milford won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Attica at 5:30 p.m. on January 26th. Cissna Park will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Fisher at 10:00 a.m. on January 27th. Fisher is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
