They breezed by Alleghany on the road to the tune of 80-40. Winning may never get old, but North Stokes sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Despite the loss, Alleghany still got an impressive performance from John Lemasters, who scored five points.
North Stokes' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.8 points per game. As for Alleghany, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 4-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Stokes will take on Mount Airy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Carolina (Mount Airy is ranked 314th, while North Stokes is ranked 324th). As for Alleghany, they will stay at home for another game and welcome East Wilkes at 7:00 p.m. on January 12th.
