The Spring Mountain Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Indian Springs on the road to the tune of 64-30. Spring Mountain has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season.
Despite the defeat, Indian Springs saw an underclassman step up: Vance Dilger scored eight points along with five rebounds.
The victory (which was Spring Mountain's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Indian Springs, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-9.
Coincidentally, Spring Mountain and the Thunderbirds will both be playing the Knights the next time they take the court. Spring Mountain will head out to face the Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Thunderbirds will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
