Lincoln came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Pike Valley Panthers 48-32. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-41 back in January.

When it comes to explaining why Pike Valley lost, don't look at Andrew Cooper. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 14 en route to 16 points along with eight boards and four steals. Cooper has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Dayton Reeves, who posted nine points.

Lincoln's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Pike Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 7-10.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 57-51 defeat against LaCrosse on the 8th. As for Pike Valley, they will square off against Osborne at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
