On Thursday, Fox Valley Lutheran earned a 3-1 win over Oconto Falls.

Hayden Massonet had an outrageously good game as she had 12 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (17).
Massonet wasn't the only good servers: Fox Valley Lutheran was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in ten consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Green Bay East came up short against Xavier on Tuesday, falling 3-0.
While Green Bay East was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Xavier's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-5, 25-13, 25-19.
Fox Valley Lutheran's victory bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Green Bay East, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-21.
Fox Valley Lutheran was able to grind out a solid win over Green Bay East in their previous meeting back in September of 2021, winning 2-0. Will the Foxes repeat their success, or do the Red Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
