River Oaks made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Porter's Chapel Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The River Oaks Mustangs' pitcher stepped up to hand the Porter's Chapel Academy Eagles a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Mustangs have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Jayden Davis, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. Another player making a difference was Makaih White, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

River Oaks' victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Porter's Chapel Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-7 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

River Oaks will have a chance to go back-to-back against Porter's Chapel Academy: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
