The St. Joseph Regional Green Knights lost against the Bergen Catholic Crusaders back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. St. Joseph Regional lost to the Crusaders on the road by a decisive 69-54 margin. St. Joseph Regional has struggled against the Crusaders recently, as their game on Saturday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
St. Joseph Regional lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jahmir Joseph, who scored 12 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Anthony Pacciarelli, who scored seven points along with six rebounds.
St. Joseph Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Bergen Catholic, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 18-6.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing DePaul Catholic the next time they take the court. St. Joseph Regional will host the Spartans at TBD on Monday, while the Crusaders will host them at TBD on Thursday.
