Maryland School for the Deaf lost against Shalom Christian Academy in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 40-26 score last time.
Shalom Christian Academy was led to victory by Maya Lehman and Addison Adams. Lehman scored 16 points along with three steals, while Adams scored 13 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Lehman has scored at least 25% of Shalom Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Emily Rebok, who scored seven points.
Maryland School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Shalom Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
