Schoolhouse Prep is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Mater Bay Academy with a sharp 14-1 win. Winning may never get old, but the Wolfpack sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Analys Uriarte looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Sofia Villa was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Michelle Dominguez, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run.
Schoolhouse Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Master's Academy made easy work of Merritt Island Christian on Wednesday and carried off an 8-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won four in a row.
Aubrey Grall was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Grall was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Katelyn Hawkins was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Scarlett Grall, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.
Schoolhouse Prep's record now sits at 14-11. As for Master's Academy, their record is now 19-7.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Schoolhouse Prep hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .324. However, it's not like Master's Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .332. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
