College Park is 8-2 against the Tigers since February of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The College Park Cavaliers will be playing at home against the Conroe Tigers at 7:00 p.m. College Park will be looking to keep their 13-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
In what's become a running theme this season, College Park gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They put the hurt on New Caney with a sharp 67-46 win. Given College Park's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while the Eagles are ranked 516th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Martez James, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 13 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last 11 times he's played. Aiden Buckmon was another key contributor, scoring 21 points.
Meanwhile, Conroe was able to grind out a solid victory over the Indians on Saturday, taking the game 55-45.
College Park is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 29-4 record this season. As for Conroe, their win bumped their record up to 16-13.
College Park strolled past the Tigers in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 86-67. Does College Park have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
