The Franklin Road Christian Minutemen will be taking part in a tournament against Mount Pisgah Christian Academy  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Franklin Road Christian comes in on four and Mount Pisgah Christian Academy on six.
Franklin Road Christian picked up another tournament win  on Friday. They walked away with  a   46-35  victory over Cedar View Christian. Given the Minutemen's advantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while the Seahawks are ranked 347th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.

Franklin Road Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Gracie Tidwell led the charge by  dropping  a double-double with 18  points and 14  boards. Tidwell has been hot recently, having also posted five or more  steals the last three times she's  played.  Emma Dugger was another key player,  dropping  a double-double with 12 points and 15  rebounds.

 Franklin Road Christian's record now sits at 32-5. As for Mount Pisgah Christian Academy, their record is now 21-7.
 Franklin Road Christian suffered a grim  57-37 defeat to Mount Pisgah Christian Academy  in their previous meeting  back in February of 2024. Can Franklin Road Christian avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
