The Napavine Tigers put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past La Center 69-45. 69 seems to be a good number for Napavine as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Napavine pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.6 points per game. As for La Center, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Napavine will challenge Morton/White Pass at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Morton/White Pass will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 256th, while Napavine is ranked 13th). As for La Center, they will head out on the road to face off against Adna at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
