Boulder was handed a heart-breaking two-run  defeat in their last  contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against Westminster  on Tuesday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Wolves with a sharp  12-2 victory. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their one-run performance the  match before.
 Gavin Nguyen was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed 3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-5 with two  RBI and one  double. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April.
 In other pitching news,  Kai Paradise looked comfortable as he  pitched 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run but no hits.
 Back at the plate, Boulder got a  massive  performance out of  John McKenzie, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base. That  triple was  McKenzie's first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Maks Matheson, who  went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  double.
 Boulder was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .424. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Westminster only posted a  batting average of  .000.
