Oasis Christian lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nic Place, who scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Place scored 15 or more points. Cole Durden was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Oasis Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost nine of their last ten matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oasis Christian and Geneva Classical Academy will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Geneva Classical Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Saint Stephen's Episcopal, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Parrish Community at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parrish Community presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Saint Stephen's Episcopal in Florida (Parrish Community is ranked 281st, while Saint Stephen's Episcopal is ranked 699th).
