Last Friday, Somerset College Prep Academy came up short against Lincoln Park Academy and fell 61-49. It was the first time this season that Somerset College Prep Academy let down their fans at home.
Meanwhile, Sebastian River unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 42-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central. Sebastian River has not had much luck with Central recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Adams, who scored six points along with six steals. Those six steals set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayda Pickard, who scored six points.
Somerset College Prep Academy's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. As for Sebastian River, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
