The Carroll Patriots will be home for the holidays to greet the Badin Rams at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
On Tuesday, Carroll came up short against Archbishop McNicholas and fell 50-43. Carroll has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Badin managed to keep up with Bishop Fenwick until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Badin's rough 58-36 loss to Bishop Fenwick might stick with them for a while. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Badin in their matchups with Bishop Fenwick: they've now lost four in a row.
Carroll's defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-2. As for Badin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Carroll took their win against Badin in their previous matchup back in February by a conclusive 54-34. Does Carroll have another victory up their sleeve, or will Badin turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
